This beanie is treated like a working surface, not an accessory. Bleach cuts through the knit in uneven passes, leaving evidence of process rather than polish. Screen‑printed marks land where they land—pressed into fabric that wasn’t meant to carry ink, imperfect by design. Small metal grommets puncture the form as functional scars, referencing repair points and the hardware of a shop floor; grommets are traditionally used to reinforce holes in cloth or other materials, precisely to prevent tearing or abrasion.
